My First Day on Campus

My First Day on Campus
Looking at the familiar school, I think a lot about the day when I first came here with my best friend at high school. She is studying in our school, too.
Missing my train, I took the next one here alone with a little fear. I finally found her and because of her I came to the Southwest University easily.
When I entered and saw no walls, I felt how large the school was. And with the strange things around, I just wanted to sleep in my bed and closed my eyes. At this time, she hold my hand tightly and smiling to me happily. As if we were in the middle school. I began observing the people past us, I found they are smiling to me too, as if to say welcome here.
I didn’t take a lot of things from home, so I had to go shopping. She always went with me. If she didn’t go with me, I could do nothing. I still remember that I waited her to have our dinner, but she didn’t come on time. When she came, it was late at night. I was so hungry and in the end I slept at my desk. She said nothing, finding some eating things to me. I couldn’t state how I felt at that time.
In a word, because of her, I felt so warm, happy. I just want to say ‘thank you’ to her.
