A Letter to My Friend

Dear cherry:
The CET-4 is drawing near now, and I know you have prepared for it for a long time. You told me that you were very tired of it and very nervous. It seemed that you want to give up.
I’m very sorry for hearing that. As a good friend of yours, I always believe that you will do well. In fact, you are good at learning. Maybe you are just too nervous. I suppose that you should relax-leave your books shut and try some other things: get out into the open air or do some physical exercises. You can see a film together with me. In a word, just relax yourself, don’t think too much about the coming CET-4. To some degree, it can get you out of fright.
I want to send you a sentence: “Where there is a will, there is a way!” You should never give up. When you feel nervous, breathe deeply and picture yourself performing well. If you think you can, you can. So just do it!
I hope all these ideas will be helpful to you. Best wishes for your success in the CET-4.

Your affectionately,
Chen Jing
