A letter to the president

June 13th, 2008
Dear Mr. President:

I’m very glad to write to tell you something what I see and hear after the Wenchuan earthquakes occurring. I’m a sophomore student of the plant protection department. Since the earthquakes occurring, almost everyone has been paying close attention to all the things about victim, and many people call to present money and clothes to help them. It’s excited our classmates and teachers are so kindly, however I find they are in disorder sometimes. In the long run, they could produce some negative effects.

To some extent, it’s good news there are many people to will to be volunteers, but in fact, the number of the volunteers is too much, and many students don’t have experience, their kindness makes opposite effect. Second, some students pay so more attention to the earthquakes that they lost their study, after all study is first. So I hope school can control them to be in order, and collect the money and clothes together. A good order could more effective help the victims. Let’s pray for them, at the same time let’s try our best to help them and not save our love.

Yours sincerely

Zhou Juncheng
